Kaiser Chiefs coach Steve Komphela once again rued his side's failure to hold onto their lead after conceding late on against Golden Arrows. Amakhosi looked worth their victory after Ryan Moon came off the bench to hand his side the lead, but Knox Mutizwa bagged a equaliser in dramatic fashion in the final minute of stoppage time. It was Chiefs' third consecutive match in which they conceded in stoppage time, throwing away crucial points and watching their league title hopes fade before their eyes.

Komphela, in his interview with SuperSport TV, was gobsmacked by his team's failure to see out their matches, and admitted his disappointment at the costly mistake. "It's tiring, what else can you do? I don't know how many matches we've given away," said Komphela. "If you look back it won't help you, but I can't believe the matches that we give away for no apparrent reason, even in April, were supposed to be sitting on 51 points. "But we are giving away matches – [in the] last minute, you know that four minutes [referee's optional time] has been raised, you've gone through three, defend for your life! I'm just disappointed, but what can you do?"

Komphela, admiting praise for Moon's well-taken goal, also felt they had enough chances to see off their visitors, before questioning his players' resilience. "They [Arrows] looked deadly when they came out, even in the first half they caught us. I thought we were not as crisp coming in the counter-attacks and our game was not as fluid," he added. "We did get chances – beautiful goal by [Ryan] Moon – but again, should we have drawn this match? Not at all. "We've suffered so many similar setbacks, it seems we don't want to learn. For whatever reason we don't learn."
