Stuart Baxter says SuperSport have missed Thabo Mnyamane following red card against KwaDukuza

SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter admits the team has missed the services of influential forward Thabo Mnyamane. Mnyamane is expected to make his return in Saturday's Nedbank Cup quarter-final against Kaizer Chiefs after sitting out the recent 5-0 and 1-0 league defeats to Mamelodi Sundowns through suspension. The former University of Pretoria man has been in fine form this season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in all competitions.  "It's been big. He should be embarrassed about the fact that we missed him because it was his doing that he got a red card," said Baxter, referring to Mnyamane's dismissal in the 2-0 win over KwaDukuza United in the last-16 of the competition.

"It's not bad refereeing, he got a red card because he deserved it, it was petulant. If it was a tackle or two yellows because he was competing hard I will buy that. But I don't like it when players get a red card because of petulance. Yeah, we did miss him, he is a good player." Matsatsantsa will face Amakhosi at FNB Stadium without bustling hitman Kingston Nkhatha as he injured his ankle in the Tshwane derby rematch on Wednesday.
