Super Eagles of Nigeria will wear new locally flavoured attire when they fly into Russia on Monday for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Eagles were poised to wear the attire during their visit to President Muhammadu Buhari last month but the stylist reportedly failed to meet the deadline set by the Nigerian Football Federation, a camp source revealed to CSN. The white native attire has green embroidery of the Super Eagles emblem on the chest. The white trousers and predominantly white tunic go with white shoes with knots of green at the top to match.
A white South-South style hat completes the dashing outfit. Odion Ighalo and John Ogu have both posted pictures of them wearing the new attire.
The team are expected to depart Austria on Monday for Russia after an eight-day intensive training camp.
