Talented Huddersfield striker dumps England for Nigeria

According to All Nigeria soccer, promising Huddersfield Town striker, Andre Silveira Edionhon has dumped his country of birth England as he received a maiden call-up to the Nigeria squad ahead of the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup.
Born in Greenwich, London, the attacker is also eligible to turn out for England's youth teams but he has committed his international future to Nigeria. In a report by All Nigeria soccer, the youngster received his call up through a letter dated September 9 with reference number NFF/GEN/TECH/210/VOL.IV, from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) requesting for his release to the Golden Eaglets.
Edionhon who was in 2003 has been selected to attend the Nigeria U17s team camp, which is scheduled to hold in Istanbul, Turkey from 20th to 27th September, 2019. He is in contention to make his debut for the Golden Eaglets at the UEFA/CAF Assist Tournament this month.
Edionhon played for Lambeth Tigers before joining Huddersfield Town as a first-year scholar in July 2019.
