Teenager Karamoh hits maiden Serie A goal as Inter return to third

While this year's fight for Serie A has long been a two-horse race, the battle for third continues to heat up with Inter grabbing a 2-1 win at home to Bologna on Sunday.

French teenager Yann Karamoh was the hero, on his first start playing a key role in both goals as the Biscione ended a run of five straight draws to leapfrog Lazio.

Pulling out wide early on, the forward played a lovely through ball for Marcelo Brozovic to meet and cross in the 2nd minute, finding Eder to score the opener.

Rodrigo Palacio levelled matters with a powerful close-range finish before the break but Karamoh again emerged to steal the show, jinking his way through the visiting defence just after the hour mark to curl the ball home from 25 yards.

The final whistle heralded Inter's first victory since early December whilst Bologna, who also had both Ibrahima Mbaye and Adam Masina dismissed, remain 12th following a third consecutive defeat.
