Since first arriving at Manchester United on trial Aliou Traore hasn't taken much time to convince the club and to earn himself a first professional contract.

He moved to the Red Devils in the summer before officially joining their academy on December 3, 2017, and it has taken him just a month of performances there to earn a first pro deal.

The 17-year-old was formerly part of Paris Saint-Germain's youth system, but has instantly impressed everyone at Old Trafford.

"Aliou is a tremendously gifted young player and we are all delighted to see him sign his first professional contract here," said head of the academy Nicky Butt.

"Naturally, he will need time to adapt, but he has an exciting future ahead of him.

"We are all looking forward to seeing his performances for the Under-18s in the second half of this season."
