Christian Eriksen scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur won 3-0 at fellow Premier League side Swansea on Saturday to ease into the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
The Dane opened the scoring after 11 minutes and after Erik Lamela doubled their lead on half-time, Eriksen netted the third just after the hour mark to seal a convincing victory.
"We full deserved the victory," Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said. "We played very well. Of course when you score early it makes it easy to control the game.
"For me the most important thing is that we deserved it and the team played much better. We are in the semi-final because we deserve it."
Swansea had been hoping to reach the semis for the first time since 1964 but Tottenham were out of sight by half-time, making light of the absence of striker Harry Kane.
Eriksen put them ahead with a brilliant opener, gathering the ball just inside the Swansea half and then curling a superb left-foot strike into the top corner. Spurs had chances to extend their lead, with Hyeung-Min Son unlucky to have a goal ruled out for offside, a decision backed up by video replay (VAR).
The second goal came in first-half injury time when Lamela showing good feet in midfield before slipping a shot with his right foot into the bottom corner.
Michel Vorm made a fine save in the Spurs goal early in the second half and Eriksen made sure of the win with half an hour to go when his shot from the edge of the box found its way into the net.
