Kaizer Chiefs have provided an injury update on three players ahead of their trip to Polokwane this weekend. The Glamour Boys travel to Limpopo to face Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday evening (18h00), and have received a welcome boost in attack. Captain Siphiwe Tshabalala has recovered from a muscle train and has been given the medical greenlight to return to full training on Wednesday (tomorrow). “The injury required some rest to heal properly,” Kaizer Chiefs physiotherapist David Milner told the club's website. “He has recovered now and will resume full training on Wednesday.”

Defender Kgotso Moleko has also received some positive news as he continues to work his way back to full fitness, after sustaining a hamstring injury. "Kgotso Moleko is doing well and has returned to training after nursing a hamstring injury that kept him out of the side during the last three weeks," further read the update. Meanwhile, left-back Sibusiso Khumalo has been ruled out for another 10 days with a knee injury he picked up in Chiefs' Nedbank Cup defeat to his former team SuperSport United. “Sibusiso Khumalo is nursing a knee ligament. He will be out of action for the next ten days,” added Milner. A final decision on whether to include 'Shabba' in the travelling squad for this weekend is set to be taken later this week.
