Barcelona can take a little deep breath after Saturday's fixture between Lyon and Strasbourg didn't go according to plan for the side who will face Catalans in midweek, with defender Marcelo Guedes pulling up injured after just 15 minutes.
The central defender strained his thigh, grasping his leg as he walked off the field of play. The defender was on of Barcelona's tormentor in the first leg in France as he kept both Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez from finding the back of the net.
"It's too early to know if he will be able to play, as we will look at it tomorrow [Sunday] with the doctor and then investigate further," coach Bruno Genesio said.
Olympique Lyonnais showed their best and worst sides as they squandered a two-goal lead in a 2-2 Ligue 1 draw at Strasbourg on Saturday ahead of their Champions League clash with Barcelona. Lyon had built up a two goal lead through Moussa Dembele, but Ludovic Ajorque scored twice in one minute to level and earn a 2-2 draw for his team.
Moussa Dembele's double was cancelled out in the space of 103 seconds in the second half when Ludovic Ajorque also netted twice after Lyon lost centre back Marcelo to a thigh injury.
