Barcelona assistant coach Juan Carlos Unzue has dropped a hint that he would like the top job next season by claiming that he doesn't want to have too much time for hobbies.
Luis Enrique has already announced his decision to depart the club at the end of the season.
Unzue, who was in attendance to watch his brother Eusebio oversee affairs with Movistar Team on Monday, has emerged as of the candidates to take over at the Camp Nou and acknowledged that he does have an interest in the position.
"I hope that I won't have any more time for the bike next season as I don't want to," said Unzue. "When you are a coach, the time for hobbies will come [later].
For his part, Luis Enrique has already given his assistant his blessing should he wish to take on the main job at Barcelona and insisted he would not hold it against Unzue.
"It would be impossible for me to get angry with Unzue as we have been friends for many years," said the current coach.
