Vinicius Junior is aware that Eden Hazard's signing could limit his minutes at Real Madrid next season but the Brazilian isn't too disheartened by the transfer. Zinedine Zidane has shown that he trusts the youngster to be part of his team next season, even if his minutes will be fewer than under Santiago Solari.
"It [Hazard's arrival] makes it more difficult for me to play," Vinicius admitted in an interview with Globoesporte. "But it's not a problem for me. Everything will depend on Zidane."
In such a short period in Spain, the Brazilian youngster has progressed a lot, though he does still have further growing to do.
"When I arrived I was a totally different player," he said."I've learnt a lot from the staff here and from each coach. "I've evolved tactically and lose the ball less. I'm calmer when I play."
The atmosphere at training is competitive, which has helped the Brazilian to better himself.
"Nobody wants to lose in training," he explained. "Everyone, even Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema, both over 30, work more than anyone else and they get goals."
