Real Madrid new wonder-kid Vinicius Junior will be joining Real Madrid for the pre-season and he was emotional as he was saying goodbye to his boyhood club in Brazil.
The Flamengo teenager took part in a press conference as he bid farewell in a teary way to the club that has helped him grow into a professional footballer.
"I say goodbye to the club of my life to make my dream come true by playing in Madrid," he said, unable to hide his emotions and crying in front of the press.
"The biggest difficulty I will face will be tactical, but I can improve and become a great player. I have a dream of doing the same as Ronaldo and Ronaldinho in Spain.”
"I'm preparing for new challenges and this is the biggest of my life, I want to adapt quickly to be happy in Madrid."
Vinicius will soon start work under new Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
"My thinking is to play in Madrid, although I know it won't be easy," he told MARCA in a recent interview.
He will still have to spend time with the Brazil U-20 team before joining the European Champions side for preseason games.
