Vitolo getting ready to make big jump

1 month ago  Raphael   Sport News

After scoring a goal for Spain against Israel, it has become increasingly clear that Vitolo is destined for bigger things, his stardom going far beyond just a temporary call-up as he looks to cement his role within the Spain side.
Barcelona have already shown interest in the winger, and the player is weighing his options for the future, admitting that there are some teams that'd be hard to turn down.
"Barcelona are a great team and anybody would like to play at a club like that," he told MARCA.
Vitolo's release clause currently sits at 35 million, although that could rise all the way up to 40 if certain conditions are met.
With four goals in the World Cup Qualifying round for Spain, he is Lopetegui's joint leading goalscorer alongside Diego Costa.
Besides the Blaugrana, Simeone's Atletico Madrid are also reportedly interested and so is a familar face in Unai Emery at Paris Saint-Germain.
Emery trusted Vitolo when he had just stopped playing in the second division and the player might repay the coach's favour with a move to the French capital.
Should the Spanish coach continue at PSG next season could be a determining factor of where Vitolo ends up, should he try to reunite with his former coach.
Sevilla too will be keeping their options open and will have one eye on the market should he decide to go, but their hope is that a player of his calibre decide to stay for many years to come.
