Voller: Playing Atletico will be a challenge in hell for Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen have a mighty task this Wednesday evening as they aim to overturn a 4-2 first leg deficit against Atletico Madrid at the Estadio Vicente Calderon, a stadium their sporting director Rudi Voller described as hellish.
The German World Cup winner knows that it is set be tough for his players and for new coach Tayfun Korkut, but is hopeful that a positive showing will boost the side's confidence ahead of the final stretch of the Bundesliga season.
"We all know it will be a challenge in hell," he told the club's website, which described the stadium as 'a temple of football'.
"If we have made it this far and if we achieve [a comeback] then we can go as far as we want.
"In games like this the team can regain a huge amount of confidence.
"The fact that the German side took Los Rojiblancos all the way to a penalty shoot-out when they visited two years ago could provide some motivation for them, but they will hope to pull off a shock comeback and return with an even sweeter memory this time around.
