West Ham United are hopeful of signing Adrian Akande. The teenage attacker has been linked with a move to the London Stadium club.
The Daily Post in Nigeria says Akande has left his previous club Chelsea. The Nigeria under-17 international has been with the Blues for the past four years. He is not set to sign a scholarship deal with the club, which would make him free to move to another team.
Akande recently had a trial with West Ham, who would be hoping to wrap up his signing in the coming weeks. Rangers and Hoffenheim are two other teams with an interest in the player, per the same source in Nigeria.
