West Ham eye move for Anderlecht striker, Lukasz

West Ham have secured their Premier League future and are now planning ahead to next season with the signature of Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk, reports The Daily Mirror. Slaven Bilic’s side have endured a disastrous first campaign in their new stadium and the West Ham board have earmarked signing a new striker and right-back at the end of the season in order to kick on.

The Hammers have not been able to depend on Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho for sustained periods of the season, while there are still question marks over Jonathan Calleri. Michail Antonio is also not a true striker but has been used as a frontman for West Ham at times this season and is expected to leave in the summer. As a result, West Ham are now weighing up a possible summer move for Anderlecht striker Teodorczyk, who has endured a sublime season for the Belgian giants. The Poland international failed to score in both legs of their Europa League quarter-final clash with Manchester United but finished Anderlecht’s European campaign with five goals, more than any teammate. Not only that, but he is the top goalscorer in the Jupiler Pro League (20).
