Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has provided the latest team news update ahead of his side’s Premier League clash against Sheffield United on Wednesday evening.
Solskjaer’s men will host Sheffield at Old Trafford following a 1-1 draw against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur last Friday.
Solskjaer said the Red Devils have no new injury issues apart from defender, Victor Lindelof, who was forced off during the second half against Tottenham.
The Norwegian also said that his players are ready to take on Sheffield as they look to close the gap with Chelsea.
“Yeah apart from Lindelof. We do not have any other injury issues,” Solskjaer was quoted by Man United’s official website as saying on Tuesday.
“I think they all managed to get through the game. They were tired towards the end, some of them, but we have got another 90 minutes under our belt, and we are ready to go again.”
He added: “We love walking out at Old Trafford. It’s a different experience, but we have the urge to get back and start winning games. Hopefully, we can put our best performance.
“It’s a different way of playing and is a different mental challenge. It might be more relaxing for some, but it’s very different. Maybe, when you’re at home, and you’re struggling, you struggle with the home fans on your back. But we’ll miss out on the fans because I’ve never heard more supportive fans.
“It’s more difficult to play at Old Trafford without fans than with them.”
The kick-off time for the match is 6 pm.
