Ernesto Valverde hasn't quite been able to get the very best out of either Ousmane Dembele or Malcom in the 2018/19 season to this point, however, in Milan on Tuesday evening the Brazilian forward did more in two minutes that the Frenchman did in 80.

Valverde hasn't given him any more than 105 minutes since his arrival in the summer, and when you see the directness with which the former Bordeaux star played that appears a far stranger decision than anyone realised.
