World Cup 2026

FIFA has announced that the world cup 2026 will be jointly hosted by North American countries the United States of America, Mexico and Canada.

The 2026 world cup edition is poised to be the biggest in history with 48 teams participating in the competition compared to 32 teams; the event will also take 34 days to be completed.

The announcement was made at the FIFA Congress which was held in Moscow, Russia where the 2018 world cup will start tomorrow.

The three North American Nations won through votes against African nation Morocco with 134 votes going in the way of the North Americans compared to North Africans 65 votes.
