Andrea Pirlo has joked of Barcelona interest in a conversation with Fabio Cannavaro. The two former teammates shared their chat on Instagram Live as Italy remains in self-isolation due to the coronavirus outbreak.
When asked whether he was ready to start coaching in the Juventus academy, Pirlo gave a light-hearted answer.
"No, I have lots of applications," he said.
"Seriously, I already have the personnel ready because my first offers could be from abroad.
"Barcelona are waiting for me. I don't want to disapprove my first option, I've already had some offers."
Jokes aside, the retired midfielder reiterated his desire to go into coaching.
"I can become a good football coach, I can get my ideas across. I have my personality. I've always understood myself. Playing well helps you go further. If I don't win, it won't matter."
