Yaya Toure: Pep has problems with Africans

1 month from now  Raphael   Sport News

Yaya Toure has dropped a bombshell about his relationship with Catalan decent coach Pep Guardiola following his exit from Manchester City. According to The Mirror, Toure, 35, made this known in an interview with France Football, to be published on Tuesday.
The Ivory coast international struggled to get playing time under Guradiola over the last two years, making just 17 appearances in all competitions last season and admits he wondered if his lack of playing time was down to his ‘colour’.
“He insists he has no problems with black players, because he is too intelligent to be caught out,” Toure said. “But when you realise that he has problems with Africans, wherever he goes, I ask myself questions. “I think I was dealing with someone who just wanted to take revenge on me, who was jealous of me, who took me for his rival. I felt humiliated.”
Toure, who now says he is taking on the responsibility of being the person to ‘smash the myth of Guardiola’, feels the former Bayern Munich boss spoiled his farewell with Manchester City.
He added: “He stole my farewells with City. I would have liked to leave this club with emotion, as Iniesta and Buffon were able to do. But Pep stopped me.”
While at Barcelona under Guardiola, Toure won the treble in the Spaniard’s first season as manager with the LaLiga giants. He played 319 times over eight years with City, winning three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups.
