Zidane sees Juventus as his inspiration

It has been an exceptional season for Real Madrid and the real honours are yet to be claimed, however coach Zinedine Zidane sees Juventus as his inspiration as his current team close in on another record.
The Frenchman enjoyed some of the finest moments of his playing career with Turin's biggest club yet it is Antonio Conte's 43-match unbeaten run which is being eyed by the Frenchman
As the Los Blancos juggernaut marched on to 39 unbeaten with a comfortable victory over Granada on Saturday, they now find themselves within four of matching the record set in 2012 by Conte's charges.
Zidane's coach in Italy was none other than Marcello Lippi, a defensive stalwart, and it is hardly a surprise that such a focus has passed onto his former pupil.
This is not to say Real Madrid are a dull defensive team at this moment, it is quite the opposite, but it is important for the club to put out a team that is stylish but also reliable in equal measure.
Los Blancos have found such reliability difficult to come by for the most part of the current millennium yet the 44-year-old has struck the perfect balance.
The club's previous record of 34 matches unbeaten in all competitions, set by Leo Beenhakker and the famous Quinta del Buitre, has been beaten comfortably.
In addition, Barcelona's run of 39 undefeated matches has now been tied yet the expectation remains that Real will move beyond that shortly.
