Farmskins is full of useful features. They allow you to upgrade your skins, battle other case openers, buy items for bonus currency and even read blogs (check the recent Farmskins post about how to end warmup). Still, the site’s main tab is cases, which has a problem.
Farmskins has accumulated so many cases that beginners struggle to find the one they want to open. We’re here to help. Read on to learn about 3 amazing Farmskins cases on our site and their contents that make these cases worth your money. Let’s start!
StatTrak Abuse – $2.99
Farmskins has a cheap case full of StatTrak items. For those who don’t know, items in this category have a kill counter, which is fixed to the gun’s side. You and other match players see it. As other skin enhancements (souvenir quality, stickers, etc.), the StatTrak counter increases the skin’s price.
So, which items can you find in a StatTrak Abuse case? It has 83 items, with qualities ranging from Mil-Spec and Restricted to Covert. The most prominent of these skins are:
- AK-47 | Fire Serpent ($1,000 – $6,100) – a classic AK skin that has been around since 2013. Even though this item is called a Fire Serpent, it doesn’t have many red, orange, or yellow tints associated with flames. Most of the item’s space is taken by the green dragon. It sprawls from AKa’s buttstock to its muzzle, which makes your bullets look like they come out of the beast’s mouth;
- AWP | Oni Taiji ($750 – $960) – a 2017-released skin dedicated to Japanese folklore. The rifle’s body resembles a fight between a samurai and a demon. The former opponent’s side is painted in blue, while the demon’s is in red.
The other, less expensive skins from the StatTrak Abuse case are Five Seven | Flame Test, Tec-9 | Sandstorm, USP-S | Cortex, P250 | Visions, etc.
Eagle: Discovered Case – $0.99
Eagle is one of 5 Farmskins cases with a discovery mechanic. Cases of this type reward you with 3 items per case opened, and you must pick one of them. Here are the items you can take from Eagle:
- Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm ($140 – $290) – released in 2015, this skin has quickly become a favorite among players who like traditional Japanese paintings. The entire pistol’s body is adorned in waves, often found on folding screens. However, these waves aren’t blue but reddish, which gives Sunset Storm an unusual look;
- Huntsman Knife | Lore ($136 – $710) – this beautiful knife skin shares a style with an iconic AWP Dragon Lore. Thus, all the knife’s metallic sections are painted golden yellow with a string of ornament closer to the tip of the blade. The handle is in complementary dark green.
The rest of the skins Eagle will allow you to pick between are USP-S | Night Ops, M4A1-S | Night Terror, USP-S | Cortex, M4A4 | Desert Strike, etc.
Cherry Blossoms: Force Buy – $0.50 – $1
One of the coolest Farmskins case-opening mechanics is Force Buy. Cherry Blossoms and 4 other cases that feature this mechanic allow you to adjust their prices. It doesn’t change the case’s contents. However, it alters the number of rare skins inside it, raising or lowering the odds of grabbing a peak item. In Cherry Blossoms, such items are:
- Classic Knife | Slaughter ($293 – $389) – an alteration of the classic CS2 knife’s blade pattern, which paints it red. However, not in a solid color. Slaughter uses different shades of red to paint abstract lines and stains, whose placement is changed via a pattern index;
- Paracord Knife | Crimson Web ($150 – $3.250) – in 2019, Valve gave its iconic crimson web pattern to Paracord Knife. It’s one of the most minimal blade form factors. It has a tiny handle and a lot of steel, which are all painted in red, with thin black web patterns above. Pattern index changes the placement of web centers. If you receive a skin with 3+ web centers on the blade, you’ve got the most expensive item version.
Is Cherry Blossoms solely a knife case? Unfortunately, no. If it were, it would be much more expensive. The majority of the items you can get from this case are gun skins, including SSG 08 | Mainframe 001, Glock-18 | Oxide Blaze, USP-S | Cortex, Famas | Roll Cage, etc.
