Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed ahead of the game that they will be without one of their star players.
The Norwegian manager confirmed the absence of United captain Harry Maguire, who limped off during the 3-1 win over Aston Villa a few days ago.
Solskjaer also confirmed that the England international will see no further action in the Premier League this season.
United are currently second on the log while Liverpool are sixth.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 8:15 pm Nigerian time.
