Former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has rejected a move to Manchester United this summer, according to the Guardian. The Danish star was linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer but has decided to opt out of the move.
The former Inter Milan star will be available on a free transfer this summer after finishing his short-term deal with Brentford. A lot of clubs has shown a lot of interest in signing him with the Bees also interested in giving him a new deal.
According to the Guardian, Eriksen has rejected Manchester United in favour of signing for Brentford or Tottenham. He has played for both clubs previously, and has spent the whole of his time in the Premier League living in London.
Manchester United reportedly submitted a bid to sign the Denmark international but they might have to look elsewhere with the midfielder not convinced about joining the Red Devils.
Reports also have it that another London side West Ham United are interested in signing him this summer. The Hammers will also be competing in Europe, which could give them an advantage over Brentford but an opportunity to link up with Antonio Conte and his former teammates at Tottenham coupled with a UEFA Champions League football is still on the cards.
