Borussia Dortmund has signed German international Karim Adeyemi as Erling Haaland’s replacement after the Norwegian joined English Premier League side Manchester City on Tuesday.
The German Bundesliga side parted ways with Haaland after Pep Guardiola’s led City side reached an agreement with the club for his signature.
Karim Adeyemi will join Borussia Dortmund from Austrian side RB Salzburg and will hope to continue the good works of Haaland in the German Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League next season. The German forward signed a five years deal with the Bundesliga outfit.
Borussia Dortmund released an official statement on their website to confirm the signing of Karim Adeyemi from Salzburg for an undisclosed fee.
“Borussia Dortmund is thrilled to announce the signing of German International, Karim Adeyemi, on a contract until June 2027,” the club stated.
