Chelsea has confirmed the signing of new striker Nicolas Jackson from La Liga side Villarreal for an undisclosed fee. Jackson signed an eight-year contract with the Blues.
Chelsea released an official statement on their website to confirm the signing of Jackson from Villarreal.
“Chelsea is pleased to announce the signing of Nicolas Jackson from Spanish side Villarreal,” the club confirmed.
“The Senegal international has signed an eight-year contract following a breakout 2022/23 campaign in La Liga in which he struck 12 goals. The young forward established himself in the senior set-up last summer and went on to make 38 appearances across all competitions for Villarreal and earned a call-up for the Senegal World Cup squad. He made his international debut at the tournament in Qatar.
