Henderson gives condition on Man Utd return after De Gea's awful display against Chelsea

Sheffield United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, has given condition to return to Manchester United at the end of the season, amid Red Devils keeper, David de Gea’s recent errors.

It should be recalled that De Gea came under fire after an awful display in Man United’s FA Cup semi-final 3-1 defeat to Chelsea last Sunday.

De Gea was beaten at his near post for the first and third of Chelsea’s goals and dropped a clanger when somehow failing to keep out Mason Mount’s long-range effort for the second goal.

De Gea’s errors are the latest in a succession of mistakes over the past few years, with the 29-year-old seemingly a shadow of the goalkeeper, who was once regarded as the best in the world.

His downturn in form comes at a time when Henderson continues to excel on loan at Sheffield United.

However, according to The Times, Henderson will look to move out on loan again unless he gets assurances from Man United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he will have a serious chance of competing with De Gea to be the first choice at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer, has since advised Solskjaer, that the time has come for Henderson, to replace De Gea as Man United’s no.1 goalkeeper.
