New Paris Saint Germain signing Gianluigi Buffon has given his own view on the possibility of Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo joining his former club Juventus.
Buffon reiterates the fact that he wouldn’t be surprised if he sees the Portuguese donning the shirt of the Old Ladies. The Bianconeri appear to be on the brink of making a move in the market that they have only been able to dream of since the turn of the millennium.
"I wouldn't be surprised to see Ronaldo at Juventus," he explained in an interview with Sky Sport. "It would make me happy because it's what the Juventus world needs. They have to find new idols and exalt them."
Ronaldo has been a nemesis for the Italian legend during his time at Juventus, it will be seen as aunfortunate scenario for the 40-year old shot-stopper if Ronaldo eventually signs for Juventus and comes at the same time he departs the Turin side but he denied such feat.
"It doesn't bother me," he admitted. "What bothered me were the two goals he scored in the final and the ones he scored last year. It would be a fantastic advertisement for Italian football."
